Dimitra Letter to the Community: September 23rd, 2025

We need to advise that the European Union Commission has proposed to delay the implementation of the EUDR, a move that would reward a small minority who have failed to act, at the expense of the many organizations that have already invested significant time and resources to comply. We also note that it still needs to go through several approval stages, and we trust that common sense may yet prevail to prevent it.

At Dimitra, we remain fully committed to supporting our clients in preparing for the regulation. Despite the potential postponement, we will continue onboarding farms and supply chain partners, and we will even begin issuing Due Diligence Statements voluntarily. This ensures that our partners stay ahead of the curve and are ready when enforcement takes effect.

It is also important to highlight that our clients are not solely interested in EUDR compliance, they are equally focused on carbon markets, ESG commitments, and broader sustainability goals. This makes the continuation of our projects even more relevant, as we provide integrated solutions that address multiple global requirements simultaneously.

Regardless of the final outcome, we remain confident that our proactive approach will ensure our clients and partners are fully prepared to succeed once the regulation is enforced. The delay does not change our long-term mission, nor does it diminish the value of our solutions. On the contrary, it reinforces the importance of working with a trusted technology provider to prepare for compliance and sustainability before the new deadlines.

We have begun engaging our customers who may be impacted by this potential delay and trying to understand immediate implications to our agreements. Initial feedback is that they still need to comply and are interested in ESG and Carbon components of the respective deals. We will update the community as we have solid information from decision makers in each market.
